PaloPalo Q — Privacy Policy

PaloPalo Q has no account creation and no login system, and it does not collect personal data for advertising, analytics, or tracking. By default, nothing you enter leaves your device.

The one exception is the optional Live Share feature, described below. Live Share is off by default and is only used if a session organizer turns it on.

All information you enter into the app — including player names, skill rankings, session details, match history, club logos, and app preferences — is stored locally on your device using standard on-device storage. This data:

• Is not transmitted anywhere unless the organizer turns on Live Share for a session, and then only the limited information described below
• Is never used for advertising, analytics, or tracking
• Can be permanently removed from your device at any time by deleting the app

If the organizer of a session turns on Live Share, the app sends a snapshot of that session to a server so that other people can watch the queue and leaderboard in a web browser using a link and a 6-character code. No account is needed by the organizer or the viewers.

What is shared:

• The session name
• Player names as entered by the organizer
• Court assignments, queue order, and upcoming matches
• Court names, which players are on each court, and who is next up in the queue
• Number of games played, wins, losses, ties, points scored, and sets won and lost

What is not shared: skill rankings, club logos, photos, contact details, device identifiers, or location.

Who can see it: anyone who has the link or code. Share it only with people you want to see the session. Organizers are responsible for making sure the players whose names are shown are comfortable with that.

How long it is kept: the snapshot is deleted when the organizer taps Stop Sharing or ends the session. If neither happens, it stops being viewable after 24 hours without updates and is removed automatically shortly after.

If Live Share is never turned on, no session data leaves your device.

PaloPalo Q (listed on Google Play as “PaloPalo Q: Court Queue”) has no accounts. Your players, scores, queue, and settings are stored only on your own device. To delete them, clear the app's storage in Android Settings > Apps > PaloPalo Q > Storage, or uninstall the app.

Live Share data is the only data that leaves your device. Tapping Stop Sharing in the app deletes the shared snapshot immediately. Otherwise, it stops being viewable after 24 hours without updates and is removed automatically shortly after.

If you choose to upload a club logo, the image is selected from your device's photo library using your device's standard permission system and is stored locally within the app. It is never uploaded anywhere, including when Live Share is on.

PaloPalo Q does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services, and does not use cookies.

Live Share uses two service providers, and only when it is turned on:

• Supabase stores the session snapshot while it is being shared.
• Cloudflare hosts the web page that viewers open.

Both receive standard technical information that any website or online service receives, such as the IP address of the device making a request. All connections use encrypted HTTPS. We do not sell this data, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone else.

PaloPalo Q is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. Live Share only sends the player names that an organizer chooses to enter. Organizers should not enter the names of children without a parent or guardian's agreement.

If PaloPalo Q's data practices change in the future (for example, if account features are introduced), this policy will be updated accordingly, and the update date above will reflect the change.
